It’s Extremely Crucial That You Preview a Potential Inspector’s Home Inspection Report Before Hiring Them, and Here’s Why…

The top home inspectors in today’s business do not produce handwritten reports. A professional inspector will provide a combination checklist/narrative report. Technology has evolved where you should expect to receive a full-color report on site, with digital photographs of the issues discovered during the course of the inspection. The report should provide “Summary Pages” with specific explanations of Major Concerns, Safety Issues and Deferred Cost Items, etc. Anything less than this should have you concerned.

No home inspection report should contain repair costs or action plans for repairs. Professional home inspectors inspect — they don’t repair! A home inspector that makes repairs should always be avoided due to the conflict of interest inherent in that situation.

Our clients have managed to save and negotiate on hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs and costs because they were armed with a detailed inspection report outlining our findings.
